It’s Friday.  I get it.  It’s been a long week. You know you should get some exercise in, but you just don’t feel motivated.

It’s 5:45am here on the east coast, but my body thinks it’s still 2:4am in Phoenix, so here’s what I say about any excuses…

Get over it!   =D

You know what you need to do, so let’s get to it!

WOD 6-20-14

Warm up: 30 minute walk-to-jog

Main set:

  • 50 air squats
  • 25 pushups
  • 25 pullups (if you have trouble with pullups, try jumping pullups and/or split the rep count in half)
  • 25 crunches

Start slow, but to increase intensity, slowly pickup the pace as you go through each set.  Also notice I don’t list any rest periods.  Just keep going from one movement to the next.  Before you know it, you’ll be done!

Cool down with a thorough 15-20 minute stretching session.  I prefer yoga, but whatever you do, just thoroughly work each of the muscles you just used in this workout.  Get them ready for the race.
