“Without struggle, there is no progress.” – Frederick Douglass

Fitness is a gradual process. It’s not something that happens overnight. Train long enough and you will have bad workouts, disappointing race results, and a days where you’ll be sore at some point. But stay with it longer still, don’t give up, and you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish with dedicated hard work.

Bad workouts will become fewer and farther between. Race results will improve, and your body will become more adaptable to any type of physical exercise.  They key? Just keep moving forward!

With that in mind… Let’s go!  😀

WOD 10-15-14

Warm-up: 5 minutes of jump rope

Main set:

  • 30 Push-ups
  • 30 Bodyweight Squats
  • 30 Box jumps
  • 10 Pull-ups
  • 30 Jumping Lunges

Cool down with a very light 1 mile jog or fast walk.  This ‘running/jogging’ cool down is VERY important after working your legs like this, so don’t leave it out!

See you Friday!
