Ok… I’m not going to lie – These past two weeks have made me more sore than usual. Changing up the WODs to ‘more serious’ Crossfit WODs has been pretty brutal (in a  good way) – it means I’m pushing my body.

With that in mind, it usually helps for me to start slow with this WOD, then pick up speed as my mind/body get going.  It’s the Crossfit Benchmark workout, “Cindy”!

WE GOT THIS – LET’S GO!

WOD 10-17-14 Crossfit Benchmark workout ‘Cindy’

  • 5 Pull-ups
  • 10 Push-ups
  • 15 Squats

As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.

Once you get going, push hard. I use the countdown clock on my phone so that I can glance at the time as I go through the workout.  It seems to motivate me to keep going when I can see how much time I have left.

I also record how many rounds I complete by making a tally mark with chalk on my garage floor after each rotation.

Make sure you re-hydrate, stretch, and also take a few minutes to take a mental break as well.
