WOD @ allandnieva.me

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” – Laozi, Chinese philosopher

I don’t necessarily believe in resolutions, but if it will give you the motivation to get off your butt, then I don’t care what call it. Getting off your butt to get back in shape is the first step.

I have many goals I’ve dedicated myself to meet this year. Today, we will find out where we’re starting. In order to know what you have to do to do what you want to do, you have to know where you’re starting from. *Sorry… I know that’s mouthful, but take time to re-read that…

Do this WOD to the best of your ability. Record your times, but also make a note as to how difficult (or not difficult) it was for you. When you re-assess in a couple months, you’ll need these notes to help validate that you’re training is paying off.

Let’s go!

WOD 1-5-15

Warm up with 3-5 minutes of Jump Rope (or double-unders)

Main set: CROSSFIT BENCHMARK: BARBARA

  • 20 Pull-ups
  • 30 Push-ups
  • 40 Sit-ups
  • 50 Squats

5 rounds for time.

Cool down, stretch, and hydrate.

Take a look at your numbers, and note how you feel. Were you faster? Did you feel better going through the WOD? Improvements happen one step at time. Enjoy the small victories, because… well, it’s a victory! 🙂

See you on Wednesday!
